The Return of a Brooklyn Favorite
Central Brooklyn is the proud home of the re-launch of Pathmark — a name synonymous with value, community, and quality. The first Pathmark to reopen is located at 1525 Albany Avenue at the corner of Farragut Road, a 47,000-square-foot store that once proudly served the neighborhood for years.
After construction began on January 2, 2019, the store officially reopened in the spring of 2019, bringing back the same great shopping experience Brooklyn residents remember — with even more to love.
A Legacy Reborn
A group of passionate former Pathmark employees, now part of Allegiance Retail Services, joined forces to revive the iconic Pathmark name. Driven by pride and community spirit, they developed a plan to purchase and re-launch the beloved brand, restoring it to the neighborhoods that missed it most.
Their mission: to bring back the classic Pathmark experience — where low prices, friendly faces, and neighborhood ties come together to create a store that truly feels like home.
A New Look with Familiar Comfort
The Albany Avenue Pathmark has been completely remodeled while keeping the familiar charm that shoppers remember. With modern upgrades and expanded departments, it delivers everything you expect — and more — under one roof.
